Hlib Vyshlinsky, executive director

Responsible for general management of CES and its external relations.

In December 2015, Hlib was elected as a member of the Council of the “Reanimation Package of Reforms” civic platform. In November 2016 and in July 2017 he was re-elected as a member of the Council of the RPR.

Professional experience
Hlib Vyshlinsky has over 20 years of experience in economic analysis and research.

From 2010 to April 2015, Hlib was Deputy Director at GfK Ukraine, the country’s leading marketing research agency. He worked at GfK Ukraine since 2003. Prior to that, during 1997-2003 he was Senior Economist, Publications Director and Deputy Director of the International Centre for Policy Studies. Hlib began his career as an economic journalist and editor, working in different mass media during 1993-1998.

Education
Hlib obtained a Master’s degree in Management from the National Technical University of Ukraine, the “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

Maria Repko, deputy director

Responsible for research coordination in public policy areas focused on providing macroeconomic stability (in particular, monetary and fiscal policy, as well as policy regarding financial sector).

Professional experience
From 2006 to 2013 for several years Maria worked as an analyst at the investment company Troika Dialog Ukraine, where she was responsible for conducting company research and strategy on credit markets. Also she worked as a director of analytical department at Empire State Capital Partners and at the managing branch for large group of companies, where she managed shareholders’ investments on the foreign capital markets (2014-2015).

Education
Maria holds Master’s degree in Management from the Kyiv National University of Economics and Master’s degree in Finance from the Ukrainian Institute of Stock Market Development.

Dmytro Yablonovsky, deputy director

Responsible for research coordination in natural monopolies, competition and state ownership.

Professional experience
From 2004 to 2016 worked at GfK Ukraine where he was responsible for financial research. During 2003-2004 worked as financial analyst in Maersk Sealand.

Education
Dmytro holds Master’s degree in Economics from Economics Education and Research Consortium (now Kyiv School of Economics) at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

    Natalia Best, director of educational programs, senior economist

    Responsible for coordinating educational initiatives supported by CES

    Professional experience
    Has over 15 years of combined professional experience in private equity and corporate finance. Most recently, served as a Chief of Staff to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius (2015-16). Prior positions include working as a Chief Financial Officer of Lycée Francais Anne de Kiev (2014-15), Vice President at Horizon Capital (2006-07), and Investment Manager at Western NIS Enterprise Fund (1998-2006), among others.

    Education
    Received a Master of Business Administration degree in Investment Management from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance (summa cum laude) from West Texas A&M University.

      Iryna Piontkivska, senior economist

      Works in the team responsible for research of public policy focused on providing macroeconomic stability.

      Professional experience
      From 2005 to 2013 Iryna worked as an economist at the investment company Troika Dialog Ukraine, where she was responsible for macroeconomic research and monitoring of Ukrainian economic development. She also has a work experience as an economist at the non-government organization Bleyzer Foundation (from 2003 to 2005).

      Education
      Iryna holds Master’s degree in Economics from Economics Education and Research Consortium (now Kyiv School of Economics) at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

      Oksana Zatvornytska, senior economist

      Works in the team responsible for research of public policy in infrastructure focused on economic growth.

      Professional experience
      Up to 18 years of professional experience in policy research, economic studies, program and project management for IFI-funded projects in Ukraine and abroad.
      During her professional life Mrs. Zatvornytska used to work for EU-funded UEPLAC project (1999-2001), CASE Ukraine (2001-2003), Ukrainian security printing company (2007-2008), for engineering company Egis Ukraina LLC (2008-2018).

      Fields of professional interests of Mrs. Zatvornytska are with economic, financial and policy analysis in the domain of transport, municipal utilities (public transport, water supply, district heating) and energy.

      Holds M.A. degree in Economic Theory from National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.

        Yulia Ruda, economist

        Works in the team responsible for research of public policy focused on providing macroeconomic stability.

        Professional experience
        From 2014 to October 2015 Yulia worked as an expert in Alfa Bank Ukraine, where she was responsible for forecasting the KPIs of the credit collection department as well as development of economic and mathematical models for planning.

        Education
        Yulia obtained a Master’s degree in Economic Cybernetics from the National University of Ostroh Academy.

          Oleksii Hamaniuk, junior economist

          Works in the team responsible for research of public policy focused on providing macroeconomic stability.

          Professional experience
          In 2016 worked as an assistant in the KSE Alumni Association.
          In 2015-2016 years was a member of the Student Council and the Academic Council of the Kyiv-Mohyla academy.

          Education
          Oleksii holds the Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Currently he is getting the Master’s degree in the Kyiv School of Economics.

            Bohdan Prokhorov, junior economist

            Works in the team responsible for research of public policy focused on providing macroeconomic stability.

            Professional experience
            During 2016-2017 served internship at a solidarity economy association “Cooperativa Terra Chã” (Portugal).

            Education
            Bohdan holds the Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the National Mining University. Currently he is getting the Master’s degree in Economics at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

              COMMUNICATIONS AND OFFICE

              Valeriia Sieliezienieva, communications director

              Responsible for the development and implementation of CES communications strategy aimed at forming public support for carrying out reforms in Ukraine.

              Professional experience
              Valeriia has experience both in media and in communications in financial industry. After the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 Valeriia made a transition from corporate communications to public service. Her key responsibilities in National bank of Ukraine were effective media relations, communications management, projects and programs in financial literacy area.

              Education
              Valeriia holds Masters in Public information from Institute of International relations and Masters in Philology from Institute of Philology Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

                Nadiya Vorona, digital communications manager

                Responsible for the development and implementation of CES communications strategy aimed at forming public support for carrying out reforms in Ukraine.

                Professional experience
                Previously worked as an office administrator at Acorn Language Centre.

                Education
                Nadiya is studying advertising and public relations at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics.
