How to insure investments against war\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will take place on <\/span><b>September 22 at 16:00 (CEST)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> via Zoom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CES released its sixth monthly review of the most important developments in the economy since the beginning of the war. The reviews for previous months are available on the <\/span><a href=\"\/?tag=monthly-review-ua\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">organisation\u2019s website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the event, experts will traditionally provide an overview of the main sectors of Ukraine\u2019s economy and focus on business insurance against military risks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This tool is necessary for the Ukrainian economy to attract new investment, which will be used to rebuild the country and create new jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three ways to provide &#8220;military&#8221; risks insurance are being discussed now:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through international organisations (including MIGA, part of the World Bank Group);<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through guarantees from partner countries for their businesses operating in Ukraine;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through private insurance companies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will talk about this in more detail with Ukrainian experts, officials, and representatives of international institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agenda for the event:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16:00 \u2013 16:05 Opening remarks, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Garry Poluschkin<\/strong>, Project Manager GET for Ukraine\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16:05 \u2013 16:20 Overview of the Ukrainian economy <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in September<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0 Dmytro Goriunov, Senior Economist at CES<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16:20 \u2013 17:00 Discussion.
