During the year of work, we have managed the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Closed 5 large schemes which causes significant losses for the state budget: \u201cDuty Free\u201d scheme on tobacco market, several schemes in gambling industry and non-transparent selling of seized russian assets by ARMA.<\/li>\n<li>Additional UAH 15 billion the state budget received last year as a result of closed schemes.<\/li>\n<li>Joint efforts with more than 50 prominent business associations, expert centers and NGOs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main challenges for the 2024 include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Restart of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU).<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of the State Customs Service.<\/li>\n<li>Reducing the share of illegal markets.<\/li>\n<li>Effective management of state property.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of obligations tied to international direct budget support within deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"research-page-content block-mb-40\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><em>The analytical support for Temporary Investigation Commission on Economic Security is preparing under the Good Governance Fund Project \u201cEconomic Hub: Sound PFM Policies and Vision for Growth,\u201d which is supported by the UK government (UK International Development).
