Challenges at Sea and Border. What is the future of Ukraine’s foreign trade?

The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) together with the German Economic Team (GET) invites you to join the Economic Review in February with a special topic: “Challenges at Sea and Border. What is the future of Ukraine’s foreign trade?”.

Ukraine has already restored its exports by sea to the levels of January 2022. At the same time, tensions on the Polish border are growing. To solve the problem, the government is looking for new logistics opportunities. In particular, it plans to launch the first container ships, which have not been used for security reasons.

At the event, we will discuss what logistics routes are available to Ukraine, what difficulties exporters in various industries from fuel to furniture face, and what are the prospects for shipping insurance.

In addition, we will traditionally review the main changes in the country’s economy in February. Reports for previous months are available on our website.  And data visualization is available in the Wartime Economy Tracker. The presentation on economic overview in February 2024 via the link
