10 Years of the Centre for Economic Strategy

Here’s how Tomas Fiala, co-founder and CEO of Dragon Capital, remembers the birth of CES:

“After the Revolution of Dignity, I met Ivan Miklos, who started advising the Ukrainian government on reforms that had already been implemented in Central European countries. We didn’t have those reforms yet, and that was holding us back. I asked Ivan for advice, and he suggested creating a credible economic think tank. That’s how CES came to be, and I’m very happy with what we’ve achieved over these 10 years.”
