How Ukrainian businesses are recovering from the consequences of Russian aggression?
Every day, Ukrainian companies face enormous challenges: from damaged or destroyed property to workforce shortages, resource constraints, and disruptions in logistics. Direct losses suffered by businesses have already exceeded $17 billion — and this number continues to grow with each new Russian attack.
Despite these losses, many entrepreneurs continue to operate. At the same time, a significant number still do not document their damages — doing so requires upfront costs, while compensation, at best, will be delayed and partial.
We discussed how Ukrainian businesses are recovering from the consequences of war, what challenges they face in the reconstruction process, and how their recovery is being financed.
