What hinders Ukrainian cities from effectively attracting donor funding for recovery?
The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) invites you to join a discussion titled “What hinders cities from effectively attracting donor funding for recovery?”.
Only half of the major infrastructure projects implemented at local levels through donor funds are successful. Such a conclusion was drawn by CES economists who analyzed investment projects and conducted a series of interviews with community representatives and donors.
Foreign donors are willing to assist Ukraine with reconstruction, but local authorities need to learn how to work with them in order to acquire and allocate funds. Otherwise, the country’s recovery will be spread out across several decades.
To delve into possible solutions to this issue, join our event on August 23 at 5:00 PM (Kyiv Time) via Zoom.
