How to Use Construction Waste for Efficient Recovery? Ukraine Reconstruction and Recovery monitoring №5

Centre for Economic Strategy invites you to the fifth presentation on monitoring Ukrainian reconstruction spending in January.

As always, we’ll review the most significant reconstruction news from the past month and analyze public expenditures.

The main focus of the January event is the utilization of construction waste for recovery. One of the consequences of the full-scale invasion and destruction of buildings is the significant amount of construction waste that is not fully recycled in Ukraine.

Only a few private initiatives are currently engaged in such recycling. However, recycling presents an opportunity for the rational use of resources for reconstruction, considering both ecological benefits and economic advantages.

During the event, we will discuss the constraints in this field and how to address them. The event will take place on January 18 at 17:00 (Kyiv time). To participate in the event, please register following this link.

This release has been developed within the project “The Recovery Spending Watchdog”, funded by the EU. You can review the previous ones at the following link.

The project is a collaborative effort involving the Centre for Economic Strategy, the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, and Technology for Progress NGO. All project participants are members of the RISE coalition.
