Ukrainian refugees after three years abroad
20 February 2025
At the event, CES economists presented the results of the fourth wave of sociological surveys on the status and attitudes of Ukrainian migrants, conducted in November-December 2024 by the Info Sapiens research agency.
We provided answers to the questions:
- How many Ukrainians went abroad because of the war and how many of them plan to return?
- How are economic conditions changing for refugees and in which countries are there the most Ukrainians?
- Which Ukrainians abroad are more likely to return?
We also assessed what impact the non-return of refugees will have on the economy and what would help bring Ukrainians back home.
Invited speakers:
- Kyrylo Kryvolap, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of National Unity of Ukraine, Executive Director of the Centre for Economic Recovery.
Moderator: Hlib Vyshlinsky, Director of the Centre for Economic Strategy
The event is supported by the International Renaissance Foundation.
