How effective is control in state public finances?

28 February 2024

The Centre for Economic Strategy invites you to take part in the discussion “How effective is control in state public finances?“, which will be held on February 28 at 16:00 (Kyiv time) at Zoom.

Every day Ukraine spends about $100 million on a full-scale war. These costs are covered by the Ukrainian budget, which receives several billion dollars of international support every month.

The system of state financial control, which includes the Accounting Chamber and the State Audit Service is supposed to ensure that the funds are spent efficiently and transparently.

During the event, CES experts and their colleagues will present research on how effectively these authority bodies work and what can be improved in their work.
