Mariia Tomilina
Mariia had been working at CES in 2022-2025, researching issues of macro stability, monetary policy and economic potential of Ukraine.
Professional experience
Active participant in student conferences dedicated to system dynamics, econometrics, and monetary policy. In 2022, she was the captain of the winning team of the student championship – the NBU University Challenge, organized by the NBU, where her team made proposals regarding the key policy rate, exchange rate, currency restrictions, etc., taking into account external and internal analysis of the environment and forecasting of macro indicators. She is currently participating with the team in the annual competition organized by the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Their task is to provide buy/sell/hold recommendations for Intel shares to potential investors based on the company’s analysis.
Education
Mariia holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, and Insurance from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy." Now, she is continuing her education in these specialties in the Master's program and is also studying at the University of Bergen, majoring in "System Dynamics."
