Monitoring the implementation of the IMF program and EU assistance (May 2024)
Fulfillment of obligations under financial support programs is necessary not for donors, but for Ukraine to achieve macro stability and transition to economic growth and increase in the welfare of the population. It is also a way to gain the trust of all international partners and foreign businesses.
This is stated in the May issue of the Monitoring of IMF and EU Assistance Programs, which was presented by experts of the RRR4U Consortium on May 30.
The next review of the IMF program (the fourth) is due in June. We have fulfilled all the structural benchmarks necessary for its successful completion. If the program is successfully reviewed, Ukraine may receive a tranche of $2.2 billion.
RRR4U (Resilience, Reconstruction and Relief for Ukraine) is a consortium of four Ukrainian civil society organizations: Center for Economic Strategy, IED, Institute of Analytics and Advocacy and DiXi Group with the support of the International Renaissance Fund.
