Presentation of “The Recovery Spending Watchdog” project

“The Recovery Spending Watchdog” project funded by the European Union.

This project is a collaborative effort involving the Centre for Economic Strategy, the Institute of Economic Research and Policy Consultations, and Technology for Progress NGO. All project participants are members of the RISE coalition.

The primary objective is to establish an impartial and independent monitoring system for tracking state and donor funds towards reconstruction efforts. This entails a comprehensive analysis of recovery expenditures and the active engagement of the public in overseeing the process.

During the event experts:

  • shared the main objectives of the project;
  • explained how the online platform “Big Recovery Portal” will function;
  • shared insights from international recovery experiences;
  • presented the pilot release of the first monitoring of spending for recovery projects.
