The Recovery Spending Watchdog in February. Special Topic: Inclusive Recovery
The Centre for Economic Strategy cordially invites you to participate in the monthly Reconstruction and Recovery monitoring. We will review the most important news from the recovery sector and analyze public spending on recovery projects over the past month.
The special focus of the event is inclusive recovery. Post-war reconstruction involves rebuilding destroyed infrastructure and housing, creating a new, better environment for Ukrainians. One of the fundamental principles of such reconstruction is barrierlessness and disability-inclusion.
During the event, we will discuss whether inclusiveness requirements are being met in the reconstruction of the liberated territories, what Ukraine needs for inclusive rebuilding, and how to overcome the limitations in this area.
The event will be held on February 21 at 17:00 (Kyiv time). Registration is via the link.
Event Schedule:
17:00 – 17:20 Reconstruction and Recovery Monitoring #6, February; Oleksandra Betliy, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting;
17:20 – 18:15 Discussion of the special topic and Q&A (participants to be confirmed):
