(Event) Ukrainian state budget 2024. US uncertainty and funds for recovery needs
The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES), together with the German Economic Team (GET), invite you to join the September 2023 Economic Review with a special topic: “Ukrainian State Budget 2024. US uncertainty and funds for recovery needs”.
The event will take place on October 13 at 16:00 (Kyiv Time) on Zoom. To get the link, please complete a short registration.
The second “war budget” will differ from the first one by shifting priorities from recovery to defence needs. A unique role in financing these expenditures is given to the redistribution of revenues from military personal income tax.
However, all internal changes will only be fully implemented with the support of a critical partner, the United States, which has yet to make a key decision on supporting Ukraine next year.
At the event, we will analyze in detail the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2024 and discuss the risks accompanying its implementation.
In addition, we will traditionally review the main changes in the country’s economy in September.
Reports for previous months are available on our website. Visualization of the most essential data for the month is regularly updated in our Wartime Economy Tracker.
