The revival of business loans in Ukraine. Will this trend be sustained?

The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) together with the German Economic Team (GET) invite you to join the October 2023 Economic Review with a special theme for the month: “The revival of business loans in Ukraine. Will this trend be sustained?”.

The event will take place on 10 November at 15:00 (Kyiv time) on the Zoom platform. Registration is required via the link.

In September, the amount of hryvnia loans to businesses exceeded the figure for December 2021. Overall, the volume of these loans has been growing slowly but steadily since May 2023. Obviously, the 5-7-9 programme plays a key role in this positive trend.

How will the affordable lending program continue to develop? And what is the situation with consumer loans? We will try to answer these questions during the event together with experts and government officials.

In addition, we will traditionally review the main changes in the country’s economy in October.

Reports for previous months are available on our website. A visualisation of the most important data for the month is regularly updated in our Ukraine War Economy Tracker.
