Maksym has been working at CES since 2021, researching issues of macro-sustainability, monetary and fiscal policy. He is responsible for monthly economic reviews and Ukraine war economy tracker. Host of the Ukrainian-language podcast “What’s up with the economy?”
Professional experience
In 2025, successfully completed the six-month Think Tank School certificate program run by DGAP and MERICS (Germany), focusing on the analysis of regional characteristics of Ukraine’s economy during the war.
Education
Maksym holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics (with a focus on developing innovative economic strategies) from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy."
