Ukraine’s latest conscription law is hindering its economy

Young men afraid of military conscription in Ukraine are avoiding the traditional workforce, and it’s having a negative effect on the economy.

Especially among younger people, it was a very big fear that, like, I will be caught on the street and sent to the front lines and will be killed within a month. They just decided to either go to shadow economy or to register as private entrepreneurs.
