How is the fuel crisis affecting the Ukrainian economy?
For more details, see the presentation at the link
The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) invites you to join the April review of the Ukrainian economy with a special topic: «How is the fuel crisis affecting the Ukrainian economy?».
Events in the Middle East have led to an increase in fuel prices. As a result, according to the European Business Association, approximately 20% of surveyed Ukrainian companies have already raised their prices, and another 37% are considering doing so.
At the same time, the government has focused on supporting consumers rather than businesses, particularly by introducing a fuel cashback programme.
We will discuss this in more detail, along with the impact of the fuel crisis on the Ukrainian economy, on 16 April at 16:00 (Kyiv time) via Zoom.
Our regular monthly reports are available on our website, and data visualisations are available in the War Economy Tracker.
