What is needed to bring Ukrainians home? Economic Review in June

The Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) together with the German Economic Team (GET) invites you to join the discussion on “Economic Review in June. Focus on the return of Ukrainians”.

The event will take place on June 14 at 16:00 (CEST) via Zoom. For registration please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

The CES released its third monthly review of the most important developments in the economy since the beginning of the war. The reviews for April and May are available on the organisation’s website.

During the event, experts will traditionally provide an overview of the main sectors of Ukraine’s economy and also put a separate focus on the migration processes caused by the full-scale invasion.

More than 6 million people – mainly women and children – have left the country since the start of the full-scale war. Of these, around 2 million have returned.

There are millions of other Ukrainians facing the risk of staying abroad permanently if Ukraine does not create decent conditions for their return.

We will talk about these conditions with Ukrainian and foreign experts, business and government representatives.
